Sunday,

and time for lunch,

first a read as Diana prepared our meal,

for our starters, cockles with toast and fresh radishes from Steve and Kai's garden,

'Cheers!',

for our man course gammon ham, with gravy for Diana,

sans for myself,

eyes down and tuck in,

for dessert raspberry pavlova with fresh raspberries and cream, lots of cream!

another 'Cheers!',

Diana had received another photograph of the house in the Philippines, which is coming on well, in the afternoon we watched a few Colombo's,

after a snack in the evening it was Gone With The Wind, but first we had to endure host of PC warmings, almost as long as the film, it has to be done as people nowadays are so easily offended, like South Western Railway train guard Laurence Coles, who complained to London North Eastern Railway about a conductor who greeted travellers with 'Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls' so no more cheery welcomes just hello from now on, thanks a bunch Laurence, the good news is that LNER said the train manager would not face disciplinary action, back to the film, warnings over what a great film, one of my all time classic favourites, we rounded off the evening with another Columbo before we were off to bed.
