I Am Only Making One Post Today,

as it is Diana's day off, and we are up early to go to the station,

back to Tuesday and how to make a fool of yourself 101, the burglar alarm kept beeping, so we had no choice but to call the alarm people in, the alarm examined and no fault was found and it is now back working, 

at the same time we had already taken the smoke alarm above the door down and removed the battery, but still the annoying beep sound, 'the chances are it is the alarm in the ceilings battery that has gone', I could not believe it, looking up our small hall had a second alarm!

and it was this alarm that was making the beep sound, talk about feeling like a fool, but there it is, problem eventually solved,

next stop along to the station,

and past the mushrooms,

over the bridge to the ticket office, 

tickets bought and back over the bridge, as a train rolled in, of course if I had wanted this train it would have left just left the station before I arrived,

back through the park,

the mushrooms looking golden brown in the late afternoon sun,

a few trees further along,

another group of mushrooms, the strange thing is that we always a have a few in the back garden, but not this year, 

as it is Black History Month I thought I would watch Mississippi Burning, a gritty riveting drama, the film is loosely based on the 1964 murder investigation of Chaney, Goodman and Schwerner in Mississippi, I rather like this idea of featuring various groups and cultures every month or so, next year I guess we will have Asian History Month, look at the amazing culture that we can follow there, followed by North American Indian Month, and other groups, not forgetting of course White History Month, after all it would be unforgivingly racists to just single out one group would it not? Diana arrived home, and said she was enjoying her new job so much, no worries about locking up and opening etc. by now it was time for a Midsomer Murder followed by a New Tricks before we were off to bed.
