so we thought we would take a walk into town,
and have breakfast, so it was wrap up warm as there was a slight frost this morning,
we went past the church,
and decided to try Jams On The Hill, which had just opened before Christmas, lots of Christmas decorations on the door frame,
the café/restaurant had a fully stocked bar,
latte coffee for Diana,
tea for myself,
Diana chose a New Yorker,
a pancake with scrambled eggs and bacon,
for myself a English breakfast, we were full to bursting! the bill came to £22.50,
back up the hill towards the church, we stopped of at Marks & Spencer's for a few bits and pieces,
they were dismantling the skating rink as we passed on our way into town, on our return it had all gone, just the tree to take down now,
the tree in Foxgrove Lodge also taken into summer hibernation,
in the late afternoon tine for a sherry and a read, we were eating early as Diana has a late shift at work,
we had bought some Indian starters,
to go with chicken korma, prawn tikka masala and lamb rogan josh, all with pilau rice, after Diana left for work I watched the usual Midsomer Murder and a New Tricks before I was off to bed.
