when I saw the photographs below,
I had no idea what they were, especially the one above, the photographs were on Reddit, surprisingly they are a home for a moth that builds its own defensive home, the Bagworm Moth Caterpillar, their homes as their name suggests are normally bag shaped,
but some, like this one actually build their own log cabins!

the Psychidae, (bagworm
moths, also simply bagworms or bagmoths), are a family of
the Lepidoptera (butterflies and moths), the bagworm
family is for insects, fairly small, with about 1,350 species, bagworm species are found globally, but few have such a nice home as the one above!
