today in 2016,
we were married in the Philippines,
the day started out with a card,
and a present,
just what Diana wanted,
we decided to eat out. so glad rags on,
and we were on our way,
walking towards the green,
down the steps past what was once the police station,
to My Place,
we have eaten here a few times before,
as it was a special occasion,
Diana ordered a Rouge cocktail,
which she liked,
the new earrings looking nice,
Diana chose a spicy King prawn dish with sourdough bread,
for myself a prawn cocktail,
'Cheers!',
for our mains we both went with a Sunday roast, beef for Diana,
lamb for myself, the portions were huge, we were so full we decided against a dessert, the meal came to £82.00 including a 12½% service charge, the meal as usual was excellent,
we made our way back up the hill,
into the park and home,
where Diana then took down all of the tree's decorations, my job for tomorrow, put everything upstairs, in the late afternoon/evening it was feet up,
for Man of Steel, I actually preferred this to the original Superman, but there it is,
more fantasy as we watched The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, as it happens we both enjoyed it so much we then chose,
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, to round off the evening, both of the Hobbit films very enjoyable,
as we watched all of the three films we had a few snacks, and I finished my bottle of Dominican rum from Kirk & Sweeney, that Diana had bought for my 70th. birthday, after which we were off to bed.
