Whilst Diana Was At Work,

I stayed in waiting for the front door buzzer to sound,

a parcel was expected, in the late afternoon I received a message to say the parcel had been delivered in the morning, a pity the driver did not ring the bell when he dropped the parcel off, after Diana arrived home I popped into town, there was no spiced rum at Lidl or Aldi, so down to Waitrose,

for some of the good stuff, Sailor Jerry's as it happens, a favourite after meal tipple of mine and the same price as Lidl's newly stocked no-name spiced rum, looking back on my way out clear blue skies,

into Waitrose, where there was only 2 bottles of Sailor Jerry, so I snagged both of those,

back into the park, and in the few minutes that had passed the sky had become much darker, winter is really drawing in,

a clear night, it might be cold tomorrow morning,

arriving home, it was time for a read and a sherry,

'Cheers!',

for tonight Diana had bought a takeaway kebab,

and it was delicious,

as were the almond Christmas mince pies with fresh and ice cream, 

diet starts tomorrow!

after our meal we listened to some Pink Floyd, memories of last night! then feet up for Enola Holmes, we had watched the film before, but having just watched the sequel we thought we would watch it again, and enjoyable it was again too, 

we followed that with Deck the Halls, a comedy which hit all the right spots, for a Christmas film highly recommended, after which we were off to bed.
