Out Into A Grey Wet Day,

Diana was at work, meanwhile I had a couple of things to do in town,

past the snail mail box,

and Foxgrove Lodge,

where the dahlias were putting on a good show,

walking past the sign,

a few bushes here in flower looking, I have to say better in real life than the photograph,

as does the red of the dahlias in this photograph,

into and out of the chemist for my prescription,

over the road outside of The George,

the hanging baskets putting on a good show,

into Lidl, a few bottles of spiced rum, sherry and a box of wine on the list, and some other bits and pieces,

the selection of cut flowers this week looking very poor,

out to the bus stop by the cinema,

alighting at Kingfisheries

I picked up my RO water, whilst there I had a look at some of the aquarium ornaments, a happy,

and angry shark, this one with a air stone in its mouth that you can connect to a air pump to put bubbles in the aquarium,

the same with the ball on this seals nose,

neat way to get around trade mark laws, misspell Jurassic!

the head of this crocodile opens as it fills with air and then opens and releases a bubble of air to the surface,

keeping to a Jurassic theme a couple of dinosaurs,

arriving home it was a read and a sherry,

before tucking into poppadums,

with a home made dish of masala,

for our next course,

a huge chicken curry,

followed by a blond Belgium chocolate ganache pot,

delicious!

we decided to spend the evening watching a few films, firstly Golden Eye, it was Pierce Brosnan's first attempt at the role of Bond, he and the movie were both pretty good, a nice way to start the evening,

we followed that with Mortal Engines, what a special effect feast, we really both enjoyed the thundering rolling cites, and the robot Shrike was suitably scary dairy!

and rounded off the evening with Blood and Gold, a film released in Germany and filmed in the Czech Republic and it was I have to say remarkably good, with more than a few twists in the tale, after which we were off to bed.
