I Had A Quiet Day,

so I thought I would make a short video of one of our trips to Singapore,

we start out across the straight in a cable car, before arriving at the aquarium, where a SCUBA diver was cleaning one of the aquariums, from the inside! Before we started looking at some of the aquariums inhabitants, firstly fish and corals as you would find on a coral reef, followed by a strange looking creature, a cuttlefish, (Sepiida sps.), next some shark embryos in various stages of development and some baby sharks, the moray eel, (Gymnothorax favagineus), is a fearsome looking beast, as is a lion or turkey fish, (Pterois sps.), he shares his aquarium with, lastly what must be the most fantastical fish I have ever seen, the Leafy Sea Dragon, (Phycodurus Eques), what an amazing creature, after which Diana arrived home,

so shortly afterwards time for a read and a sherry,

for our starters a few nibbles from India,

followed by baked trout, not salmon for a change, we both agreed the trout was nicer than the salmon we normally have,

'Cheers!',

it was then time for our evening film, Journey's End, not a action war movie as such, the film focuses on the personal demons of long serving troops and officers in the trenches of the First World War, making it seem all the more real for it, recommended if this era appeals to you, we both enjoyed the film before we were off to bed.
