and as soon as I have posted it,
I will be out to visit Duncan, back to Tuesday, I had a quiet morning, in the afternoon a BT/Open Reach engineer was due to call, I was given a time slot of 1 - 6 in the afternoon, at the stroke of 1.00 Nicholas was here, straight to work he examined the box that the signal comes through with a piece of kit, and found not one but two problems, the first one was soon rectified,
there was a problem with the box that the cable goes into, so that was replaced, also
he fitted a in-line ADSL filter, not sure what it is but it sounds technical, the second problem was outside, in what seemed like no time at all he was back upstairs, in the meantime I had tried the television and all of the channels we could not watch were all up and running, a final check and he was on his way, what a great service, and we can now watch our television without having to skip channels that we could not before see, it was mentioned that we no longer need the upgrade, but as it will save us £7.00 a month and of course be the latest pieces of kit we thought we might as well go ahead with the three new units, next for myself feet up for,
It Came From Outer Space, unfortunately not in 3D, but still enjoyable for a 1950s black & white movie, after which Diana returned home from work, after a few ZZZZZ's we watched a couple of quiz shows before our evening meal, followed by a BattleBots and a Antiques Road Trip,
then a real treat, the third episode in the new series 23 of Midsomer Murders: A Grain of Truth, after which Diana was off to bed, another early start tomorrow, for myself a Have I Got More News For You, before I too was of to bed.

Dear Stanley and Diana
Have you ever watched Wycliffe-Uk detective series from 1993 forward. We get it free on TUBI-close to the original Midsummer Murders before they changed the lead actor.
If you haven’t tried it-may want to give it a whirl given your cable box is back on the living!
Regards
John and Alley
Dear John and Alley, when Diana is at home tonight we may give it a try, many thanks for the tip, best regards, Stan and Diana.
