Day 14,

a day on the beach with a good book,

but first a walk,

a mini mobile shop,

these looked nice, bungalows opening on to the beach,

I stopped for a drink and breakfast,

a ice coffee,

burger and chips,

next towel on a chair,

and that was me set for the day,

and the book?

Frankenstein by a 20 year old Mary Shelley, Steve ad Kai kindly bought the book for me, it was a wonderful edition, with the book binding first class, the finest paper, a delight to read and unbelievably I had not read the work before!

it was so hot in the sun, after a few hours I made a move into the shade,

then a look at where I was sitting,

as I made my way to the road,

past the pool, to the road,

by the 15 Palms,

I started walking back,

then caught sight of the rear of the bungalows on the beach

and here they are, a part of 15 Palms resort,

now I was back on the beach,

I carried on walking along it as the tide was going out,

lots of small resorts,

some with chairs above the tide line, in the evening,

out onto Beach Road,

I was making my way to the Taste of India,

and what a treat it was,

onion bhajis to start, after these I was sure this is run by the same owners of the Indian we liked so much the last time Diana and myself were here,

the food was delicious, clean plate after every course!

on to the beach for a nightcap,

a pina colada,

under the moon and stars,

a walk back to my hotel after which I was off to bed.
