it is Sunday,
so out for a roast dinner,
table sorted,
behind me a fully stocked bar,
for today a roast pork dinner,
followed by ice cream,
I was full,
I had my beach things with me,
so a walk along Second Road,
I must try the 2 steak places,
in this arcade,
a walk down this narrow Soi,
and across the road to the beach,
this will do nicely,
my view of the beach,
headphones on and 'Cheers!',
after a relaxing afternoon on the beach,
a walk back to town,
past so many new places,
coconuts anyone?
I Do Not Believe It!
Pattaya Beer Garden in sight,
turn left at the Walking Street sign,
and past the temple,
with floats ready to go,
but for myself I was on a mission,
to buy some fruit,
to snack on in my hotel room,
you can see the arrows, but can you see the Indians? as Davy Crockett would say, but what ever you do, ignore these arrows at your peril, as cars and motorcyclists in particular pay them no attention,
you are just as likely to be run over from someone going the wrong way along a one way street as from any other direction,
in the evening I was out, this as its lights are on I just noticed opposite my hotel entrance,
a walk up and down the street,
looking at the bars neon signs,
past old favourites,
before settling in at Dang's,
the 808,
and Iron bar opposite,
then a real surprise the manager from 6 years ago called by to say hello,
and then it started,
a real tropical downpour,
which soon stopped,
and in no time,
the street was back to normal,
after a nightcap I was a tad hungry,
so many sticks to choose from,
I settled on 3 pork sticks at 20 baht each, then back to the hotel for a good nights sleep.
