We Went For A Pre-Sunday Lunch Walk,

to say it was windy was a understatement,

we had caught the edge of the latest storm to hit the UK

we made our way past the snail mail box,

and headed for the mansion, today was the So Last Century event taking place as well as the farmers market,

but as we made our way into the grounds the lack of people and cars parked up for stall holders told us the event was off,

no one at the rear of the mansion,

and no stalls in front of it,

or at the sides, as it happens the mansion is having some work carried out with scaffolding at the side of it,

we made our way inside,

where some stalls were up and running,

it was only the outside stalls and the farmers market that had been cancelled,

inside all manner of goods on sale,

if you are into retro homes,

and interior decorations,

this is the place to visit when So Last Century are here,

as it happens our living room has a few art deco items, table, chairs, the aquarium stand, over mantle piece mirror and my desk, as well as a few other bits and pieces, and one item here would fit in so well,

this radio, if only we had a space to put it!

posters galore,

large,

and small,

this stall for coffee lovers, more percolators than we have seen anywhere else,

a couple of stalls selling jewellery,

back to other bits and pieces,

a last look,

and we were on our way home,

well I just had too!

the park empty,

and it had started to drizzle,

past the snail mail box,

and home for our Sunday lunch,

King prawns on avocado for our starter,

a squeeze of lemon then tuck in,

roast pork for today, with gravy for Diana,

sans gravy for myself,

'Cheers!',

for dessert Bailys flavoured chocolate covered, cream filled, long profiteroles, is the best way I can describe them,

and they were delicious,

'Cheers!', as we settled down for the afternoon, sadly Diana had to go to work after we watched a Columbo, for myself I spent hours cataloguing some of the photographs we had taken over the years, I also decided to make a black back ground for this one,

a eagle,

so remove the background,

and replace the background with black, if ever I was going to print it for our photograph wall in the future, the black background not to everyone's liking, but I like the effect, next for myself feet up for,

Alien Covenant it looked so stunning in 4K, and more than a bit scary in places, with the end of that, Diana arrived home, so a coffee and a chat as we watched another episode from Vikings before we were off to bed.
