Trains, Trains, Trains,

yes it was play time today, but in the morning after completing the blog we settled down to watch Excalibur whilst waiting for the camera battery to finish charging, great film, great music, as a reviewer commented 'the film has violence, sex, myth, drama, intrigue, heroics, pathos, and aspirations to art, all in the best senses of those terms'

then a hover up with my trusty Makita vacuum cleaner to pick up all of the ground cover that may not have been fully glued,

and then a few trains going round the bend,

still lots of things to complete but today I decided was a play day, I was only using the inner two tracks,

all going well so far,

the ground cover at the front of the layout dried to a nice colour,

on the left a BR 4-6-2 'Firth of Clyde' Britannia Class 7P6F on the right a BR 4-6-2 'Clan Buchanan' Clan Class,

at the rear a Class 9F 2-10-0 standard 92192 in front a lass 3F Jinty Tank locomotive,

and a BR 4-6-0 'Honourable Artillery Company' Royal Scot Class,

after an afternoon of playing trains, then on to our evening meal,

pork chop and a glass or two of red wine,

Diana decided to take a few pictures of the aquariums, they are a bit blurred I guess the flash do not go off,

the same in the other aquarium,

then the first of three of The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes, The Mysterious Death on the Underground Railway, a lady traveler is poisoned in full daylight, but by who and why? followed by Five Hundred Carats, set at one of the De Beers mines a large diamond goes missing, lastly Cell 13, Holmes claims he can escape a maximum security cell in one week after being searched and given no special privileges, finally off to bed.
