Saturday At 388 And The Usual Suspects Were There!

after doing the shopping at Friendship it was down to Soi 13 to pick up some fruit,
this is the same Soi where I get my haircut,
Diana buying the fruit,
they have almost every thing there,
the shop its self is actually on Pattaya Tai,
now fully loaded and off home,
these are what we stopped for, some one once called them "Japanese plums" but I do not know what they are really called,
then every one started to arrive, first Fred,
then Mr. Tony,
Geoff and Fay,
Mike and Riza,
and Mark,
the girls starting the bar-b-q, Diana, Riza and Fay,
first pork followed by chicken and then spare ribs,
Mark kindly brought along a cheesecake for desert, it went so quickly!
Mr. Tony soon had enough of the conversation,
Diana bought Riza a present, but I kidded her it was for some one else,
I asked Diana what it was, I thought a glass boat that I have seen in some of the stores, Diana said it was not a boat, but like a boat,
you see just like a boat, a gift tree!
Riza was so happy with it,
all smiles,
Mike then demonstrated his walk after he had an accident many years ago,
the meal was then followed by fresh melon, as usual talk after the meal was on a huge range of subjects, two of the more memorable was about Mary Mallon, the most dangerous woman in America, she unwittingly gave numerous families typhoid fever whilst not suffering from it herself, typhoid Mary as she became known was forced to live in relative seclusion upon North Brother Island off New York, the subject was then haemophilia, the royal disease, haemophilia is a blood condition in which an essential clotting factor is either partly or completely missing, this causes a person with haemophilia to bleed for longer than normal, it is past from females to affect their male offspring, Grigori Efimovich Rasputin was reported to have "cured" the son of the Russian Tsar, Alexis, he suffered from hemophilia and Rasputin was able to stop his bleeding, after all of that it was time to sleep "Cheers!"
