For Some Luck Starts Young!

take how lucky 4 year old James Hyatt was on his first days metal detecting, he was using his grandfather's metal detector in a field when he literally struck gold,
this 16th century religious pendant which could have been owned by a member of the royal family, he was actually 3 at the time, the good news is that he could soon become a millionaire because his discovery has officially been declared as treasure trove and similar reliquaries have sold for £2.5 million, the locket, known as a reliquary, was used to contain supposed pieces of the crown of thorns Jesus wore at his crucifixion or a splinter of the cross he was killed on, the find was made in Hockley, a small town near Southend, which has a church which dates back to the 12th century, I guess the local metal detector shop must be selling dad/son matching detector kits like hot cakes for Christmas! but what a lucky find!
