Busy Day Today,

so straight on to the blog, knowing that Phil was coming over soon I spent some more time rearranging the copies of the stamps he was bringing over for me, it means that I do not have to keep moving the real delicate stamps, delicate they are, some more than twice my age! so that took care of a lot of the day, next our Indian meal, to the Royal Indian Hut on Second Road,
again we were lucky to have the window table, tonight two motorbikes crashed, one just outside, some one had double parked whilst the rider of the bike looking for his friend drove straight into the back of the people carrier, in both cases no one was hurt, then back to watching Pattaya people walk by,
we had our usual order chicken tikka masala, potato and cauliflower vegetables, saffron rice butter nan and for a change chicken korma, a drink for Diana and a few medicinal red wines for myself 1,065 baht, and we were full!
'Cheers!'
having mentioned When Worlds Collide a few posts ago we decided to watch it again, sure it can not compete with today's special effects as it was made in 1951, but when I watched it as a kid it was so real, the planet Zyra will collide with Earth and wipe out all of humanity, despite widespread disbelief, two philanthropists give Dr. Hendron some of the money he needs to build a rocket ship that will, at least theoretically, take them to Zyra, which may or may not be habitable for humans, the rest of the money comes from Sydney Stanton, a wheelchair-bound old man, who insists he come along, despite the severe limitations on the number of passengers and amount of cargo,
The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call - New Orleans and boy is he bad, he drinks, gambles, does drugs, on the take and beats up on severely handicapped people, I was just so looking forward to him getting caught, but he gets away with it all!
then the last two episodes of Hill Street Blues, we both enjoyed the series so far the next series is on the list of to buy,
to round the evening off another viewing of New Tricks, Detective Superintendent Sandra Pullman messes up a kidnap rescue and shoots a dog in the process, a theme that will haunt her for the rest of the first series, as soon as the theme music started Diana immediately looked at me and sung the first line,
'it's alright, it's okay
doesn't really matter if your old and grey' well yes, after we watched the first couple of hugely enjoyable episodes it was off to bed.
