We Settled Down For A Poolside Drink,

whilst we waited for the waiter to return with the bookings book,
it was so nice just sitting by the pool, even better when the drinks arrived!
Jeff decided to sit on the back of the motorcycle and sidecar on the way back, the problem is that these are left hand drive bikes but on right hand side roads, you may think that bikes unlike cars do not have a left or right hand side models, but they do, that is why Jeff is having so much trouble, the kick start is in between the bike and the sidecar, so there is little room for passengers feet,
made it at last,
Diana and myself were in the sidecar, it does not look close in the picture, but you could almost touch the car in front,
we were on our way to the house where Diana's family live, her mother has this as it is called locally, a sari-sari store, a mini 7 - 11 if you like,
Jeff poses before everyone finds out we have arrived, then normally everyone in the street calls in to say Hi!
Diana's Mum is building three small apartments which she hopes she will rent out, windows going in as we speak,
but the main celebration today and where every body is
here at the Salapungan Elementary School,
where one of Diana's younger sisters is graduating,
and here she is Dioshane,
then back to Diana's Mums house,
where by now everyone has come out to say Hi!
then for us a cooling beer
and a bite to eat, 'Cheers!'
whilst we were there Mary Joy called in with her new boyfriend Brian,
graduation girl and Mum,
Diana with Roan,
a very happy Dioshane and Diana,
meanwhile Diana's relatives were having a celebratory drink - or three!
all to soon it was time to go,
this time Jeff decided to travel in the side car with me, whilst Diana travelled side saddle on the back of the bike,
which was fine except Jeff takes up so much more room compared to Diana,
time to say goodbye to the family,
then we were off,
but first a meal,
at the Orange Lion Hotel, 'Cheers!'
there are a few clubs in town, but nothing like Pattaya,
a sleeping policeman outside one of the money exchanges,
we weaken and had a beer here,
but declined the offer of a beer here,
it was just nice to have a walk around taking in the sights, sounds and smells,
next morning breakfast at our hotel,
we were walking into town, then a tap on the shoulder and who should it be? none other than Glen who was having breakfast with Mey and daughter Casey, after having a chat to catch up what had happened with all of us lately,
we continued to SM shopping mall, it is a large complex where one of Diana's favorite restaurants is situated, Jollibees,
it also houses what I would consider to be one of the worlds smallest Pizza Hut franchises,
Diana went back to the hotel whilst Jeff tried a plate of nachos, but they were not quite to his taste,
so we went for a walk along or I should say down the street and spotted a dinosaur on the roof of a building,
strange place for a T. Rex to hang out - no wonder they went extinct!
next it was to Kokomo's, a restaurant/ bar on the street,
the sign says welcome and we were,
Jeff had three mini hamburgers,
after that we had a walk to the far end of the street, naturaly we had to cool off with a beer, then our adventures continue.
