Trying To Use The New Laptop,

is taking so long using the touch pad, so I weakened and used a mouse, so it takes the same time now as my tower computer, still I am so glad I did not buy an Apple computer, my mouse was 199 baht, I see that the Apple ones are way over 2,000 baht!
next job of the day clean the filters in the aquariums,
and perform a water change,
all too soon it was time for the Friday night market, from overcast last week to clear blue skies this evening,
opposite the bar another motor manufacture is signing people up for test drives,
as usual I had a walk around, past the bug stall,
the long looking ones are dried Spiny eels, although a bit difficult to tell I think these ones are Mastacembelus aculeatus, many of these are kept in aquariums as pets,
balloons anyone?
we were joined by Juu and Dang, so off the girls went on a shopping fest,
Brian and Sa also joined us for this evening,
along with Geoff for a beer and a chat,
during the afternoon we watched again Enemy at the Gates, a gut-wrenching and impressive hide-and-seek thriller that uses the bloody battle of Stalingrad (during the second World War) as the clever disguise here for a real battle of courage and determination, the film follows a young and highly talented Russian sniper from the Urals, Vassili Zaitsev, the opening shots of the ferry crossing are a real baptism of fire for any one coming from the countryside to war,
then home feet up and watch a bit of television, Diana asked to continue watching Monarchy with David Starkey, we had by now reached the Reformation, Diana has been spell bound by British history again, it has made watching the series a real pleasure, we pause the DVD every now and then to talk about something that she does not understand, but this makes the viewing all the more enjoyable, then for us off to bed.
