First, The Good News,

no body was injured when Zahir Rana crashed his Ferrari Enzo,

in to a saltwater lake, another piece of good news was that the motor suffered just slight damage to the front bumper and wing and can be fixed, Zahir, a supercar dealer from Calgary, Canada, said: 'my first thoughts were I love my Enzo and to me it's the best thing ever but I suppose it's just a car,' co-driver Roland Linder also escaped from the car unhurt, the Ferrari Enzo is the most extreme legal car to ever come out of the famous company's factory in Maranello, Italy — with just 400 rolling off the production line,

but Zahir's model is a one-off based on the FXX race car and tuned by German firm Edo Competition, power from the 6.3-litre V8 engine has been boosted from 651bhp to 840bhp with weight reduced by 100kg, as a result, the Edo Enzo will accelerate from 0-62mph in 3.2 seconds, 0-124mph in 9 seconds and 0-186mph in 19 seconds before hitting a top speed of more than 240mph, the smash into the lake happened at the Newfoundland Targa – a 1,400-mile race which takes place on closed public roads, hopefullyy Zahir will not push so hard on the loud pedal next time!
