but the printer was having none of it,
despite using the cleaning cycle two of the colours did not print, so off to TukCom we went, luckily the stall we bought it from, InkMan was not busy so it was repaired whilst we waited, 300 baht later and home we went, just a small thing I wanted to crop and make adjustments to some pictures in a PDF file and then print them, but could not, so I found this neat program to change PDF files into JPEGS, (or BMP or PNG or TIFF whatever they are),
it is from a site called Free PDF Solutions, they have a number of free downloads which may be useful in the future, but as usual a word of caution, nothing is ever free, when downloading I was offered a number of free 'gifts' like a new tool bar, search engine, make you computer faster program, etc. so remember to click the decline option as you download the program, it all worked well for me, but try it at your own risk!
pictures printed it was then time for our Saturday night bar-b-q,
garlic bread, prawns wrapped in bacon, chicken and a baked potato,
all beautifully illuminated by a candle lamp that Nick and Maureen had bought as a present for us last week,
also Diana cooked one of the fish we caught on Thursday,
after our starters it was on to the main course, all followed by some fresh fruit, we chatted the evening away, after moving indoors we watched the latest edition of the Chase that just happened to be televised as well as a episode of the Hungry Sailors we had not watched before, then one from Columbo and we were off to bed.
