In The UK We Have A Saying,

If you look after the pennies, the pounds will look after themselves,

I guess in the USA it would be If you look after the cents, the dollars will look after themselves, but here is one US dollar you should be looking about for, this one just sold for more than $1.2 million this weekend, the story goes that on Oct. 15, 1794, chief coiner Henry Voigt coined the silver dollars and delivered all the acceptable ones, 1,758 of them, to David Rittenhouse, director of the US Mint, according to the Smithsonian Museum of American History, He handed them out as gifts to dignitaries,

only 140 of the 1794 so-called Flowing Hair silver dollars are thought to exist, (the coins depict a woman with long flowing hair), could one have found it's way into your lose change or be in your attic or basement put away by a long deceased relative? who knows till you have a look, so in this case look after this dollar and you will become a millionaire!

of course you could be really lucky and fine one in better condition that the best specimen found so far, called the Neil/Carter/Contursi 1794 Flowing Hair silver dollar, it sold for nearly $7.9 million in May, setting a new record price for a coin, now where did great, great, great, grandpa put his coin collection?
