this fountain is in Northampton market, it has 7 water jets, here is the question how much do you think it costs? here are a few ideas, £10,000 or how about £30,000? both are incorrect, try £50,000, but here is for me the incredible bit, it cost £50,000 just to refurbish it!


the original ground-spurting seven-jet installation built four years ago was turned off in 2012 after traces of legionella were found in the water and that cost £98,000, I hate to say it, but looking at it a total of £148,000 seems a huge amount of money for what appears to be a plain water feature, but I guess it is the councils money so that's all right then!
