We Had A Bit Of Shopping To Do,

so off to Friendship we went,

work seems to have stopped on the development next door to the car park,

but for me it is still incredible that these sticks can support the weight of concrete being poured on top of them to make the next floor,

not many bikes here to day,

the shops temple,

sadly we had to call into All Seasons Travel opposite Friendship, we had to confirm Diana's family's return tickets as they are travelling home on Monday, the three weeks they have been here has just flown past,

we then went into the Kodak shop to pick up some prints, the shop has an aquarium in it, the fish were all fine but the front glass had some algae on it,

we decided to make our way along Walking Street, this video is about 50 seconds long going from the start of the street to Soi Diamond,

and if you want to see the rest this is about 3 minuets long and goes from Soi Diamond , then left up the road that runs to Second Road and finishes at the VC Hotel,

we also called into the market at the bottom of Pattaya Tai, the one almost opposite the temple complex,

Friendship did not have any chicken,

and we needed some for tonight's bar-b-q,

Phil is popping over next week and the spare bike needed a puncture repaired,

so off to the motorbike repair shop,

bike jacked up,

old inner tube out,

new one prepared,

and inserted,

then pumped up,

a final check, then 130 baht later and I was good to go,

later in the afternoon we got ready for the evenings bar-b-q,

Sandio and Doishane looking forward to the meal,

Mr. Tony called over and very kindly brought along a couple of steaks and some home grown mangoes,

then it was my turn to light the fire,

 which started to take,

then produced lots of smoke that followed me around as usual,

 much to everyone's amusement,

after a few rounds of garlic bread the main course was put on,

potatoes, chicken and steaks,

 Diana supervised the cooking,

 with Mum helping out,

as we started eating the grill was refilled with more chicken and sausages,

plus one of the fish we caught on Thursday,

 and a couple more steaks,

a quick hand held shot of the moon, which on Saturday evening when I took this picture was 82% illuminated and 396,538.54 kilometres from us,

the food of course was delicious, Diana had also cooked some fresh vegetables to compliment the meal,

 Diana's family,

 really enjoyed the fish,

for dessert peaches and cream, we then moved indoors, after watching some television we said our goodbyes to Mr. Tony,

and it was out with the Monopoly, the family were not taking any prisoners, I cold not buy a single property, so I was first out pretty quickly,

no prizes for guessing who won! by now it was late so we were all off to bed.
