First Thing,

a bit of maintenance to the bike,

a touch of air for both tires,

the new repair shop I use looks,

and is very tidy, then back home,

and we were off fishing with Maureen,

 and Nick,

 it was so hot,

and the good news was that I was soon into my first fish,

landed with the help of Nick,

just the right size to eat,

so off to the kitchen he went,

to reappear a short time later, delicious!

 then my second,

 another keeper,

so he will be going home with us tonight,

it then went a bit quiet,

 so out with the camera,

 to take a few pictures,

of the dragonflies that seem to be everywhere today,

I was then lucky to spot a couple having a midair scrap,

so I just had to take a picture of them 'facing off' to each other,

the day for us was still quiet, but in the next hut they had caught a fish,

 not one you could keep,

it was one of the catch and release fish in the lake, unfortunately that was where the score stayed till close of play 2-0 to me,

the parks card, if you want to spend a day at the Mamak fishing park, it is off of Soi Nub Plan Wan, (spelt as it sounds), turn into the Soi from Sumkivitt, over the railway crossing and continue for a couple of miles, the road starts to go downhill, near the bottom of it you will see the road the fishing park is on the right hand side, follow that for a while, it twists and turns a bit and the fishing park is on the left next to a soccer ground, there are rods and tackle for hire and bait to buy, plus a fridge full of beer!

so then back to Nick and Maureen's,

where Diana enjoyed a Lipton's frozen tea crush,

whilst we all had a beer, I then noticed this bird on one of the nearby cables,

I can only describe it as a sort of mini pigeon,

we had all enjoyed the chicken vindaloo that Nick had prepared the last time we were here we had it again,

 'Cheers!',

then it was eyes down and tuck in, we followed with cheese and biscuits and rounded the meal of with a chocolate mousse which was delicious,

then on to the serious part of the evening, Monopoly! Diana won the first game,

whilst I won the second, after thanking Nick and Maureen for their generous hospitality we made a move for home,

where it was feet up for a episode of Ripper Street, this instalment centring about the match girls strike, another enjoyable show titled Become Man, a number of important figures are kidnapped by a gang of women led by one Raine and Reid works out the link, the women are workers in a factory making matches where phosphorus has caused their disfigurement, a grievance taken up by Jane, and the kidnapped men seen as being responsible for their misfortune, we followed that by the latest from Take on the Twister, then past the midnight hour we were off to bed.
