We Had Another Quiet Day,

but also a bit a excitement,

but before that only a small post today as the bug men are calling early today, but back to Mark who called round with his new watch, a genuine Casio model 5113/5213 Pro Trek watch,

this watch does just about everything, it adjusts for time zones, gives you a temperature reading, naturally an alarm, altimeter also showing barometric pressure, compass, (but then all watches with hour hands can do that), day & date, stopwatch, water resistant up to 100 m and it is solar powered! once charged the watch can run for 6 months before having to see the sun again for recharging so Mark was telling us, the slight down side is size of the manual that comes with it, although the booklet is small it still runs to 98 pages, for a quick look here is the online version, of the instruction manual, what a neat piece of kit, in the evening after our evening meal we settled down for a night of murder and mystery,

first a Poirot, Death on the Nile, the 1978 version with  Peter Ustinov as Poirot,

followed by a Miss Marple, The Mirror Crack'd

back to Poirot again with Meurire au Soleil, (Evil Under the Sun),

and to round the evening off one more from The Doctor Blake Mysteries, after all of that detecting, we were off to bed.
