Although A Bit Late For This Year,

if you like flowers,

specifically dahlias, and enjoy watching floats made of them put the date for the first Sunday of September in your diary as the the world’s largest flower parade, Corso Zundert in the Netherlands takes place, located in the small town of Zundert at the Belgian border, the annual parade features 20 giant floats created by various districts within the city, the tradition started in 1936,

a few pictures from previous years shows the outlandish designs that can be made,

the parade never has a theme, leaving teams free to design whatever they want as long as the floats fit within 20 x 10 meters and are completely adorned with dahlia flowers,

and this years winner? Horsepower,

speaking of which, manpower is what is used to move the floats.
