until late in the afternoon,
so I helped out where I could with a spot of housekeeping, during the day one thing I did notice was how much one of the bargain basement orchids had opened up,
one of the 4 buds was now almost fully open, the second in the process of opening,
what a different type of color to the ones we already have, before Diana left for work by shear happistance a film that I mentioned a few posts ago, was showing on one of the cable channel,
it was none other than Robinson Crusoe On Mars, depending on your taste it was unbelievably bad or unbelievably good, there is no middle ground on this one, released in 1964, (some wonder how it managed to get out), it was in many respects a look into where sci-fi films would be going 30 or more years in the future, all said it was great fun to watch, and one to strike off of my 'to watch' list, after Diana left for work and my evening meal,
it was feet up for the first season of It Ain't Half Hot Mum, the first few episodes establishes the characters, then the fun really begins, so outrageously funny, of course in today's highly charged snowflake era, they would have such a hissy fit if they watched it, I can imagine the outrage, it is so sad that so much comedy can not be viewed as it would upset a ultra highly sensitive few, it is one of the only sitcoms that the BBC will never re-run, but there it is, the good news is that we have 6 series on DVD, so that's all right then! just before midnight Diana called, so I meet her at the bus stop and we walked home, where it was feet up for one from Poirot, then for us we were off to bed.
