in Ilford before the garage had opened,
knowing how congested the Blackwall tunnel becomes in the rush hour, I was through it before the rush hour started,
and this was my destination, the Grange Jaguar & Land Rover Service Centre Woodford, the car was booked in for its major service, and talk about busy! every seat in the service center was taken,
so off for a bite to eat,
the service center is on a huge industrial estate, and luckily has a cafe in easy walking distance, so a bacon buttie it was then, in the centre I had a read until the car was ready, the good news is that it does not need another service for the next two years, so home tapped into the sat nav, that then took me a different route home, via every roadworks it could find! it conveniently told me that there was congestion ahead due to roadworks, after I was already stationary in a queue! so I took an early turn off of the A2 and came home via Blackheath, which was as usual at an almost complete standstill, with trafic streaming across the heath going towards London, the tunnel and the O2,
home at last, just in time to say goodbye to Diana as she was off to work, I decided on a lazy late afternoon, so it was feet up for Tipping Point and The Chase, which took me up to my evening meal, after which it was a couple from the Poirot box and a film, for this evening, Jonah Hex, towards midnight Diana called, so off to the bus stop, then home, feet up for a coffee, one from New Tricks and we were off to bed.
