I wish I did not know,
and this is one of them, photograph Wikipedia, it is a parasitic
worm, multiple species of which can infect you by penetrating through intact skin and
often don't even lead to a rash, they then develop for months and the adults or
their eggs cause disease, also pin worm eggs can be airborne and can survive
machine washing with detergent! Strongyloides stercoralis, and the hookworms Ancylostoma
duodenale and Necator americanus, are intestinal parasites that infect approximately
1 billion people worldwide. Infection with skin-penetrating worms can cause
chronic gastrointestinal distress as well as stunted growth and long-term
cognitive impairment in children. Moreover, Str. stercoralis infection
can be fatal for immunocompromised individuals and infants, as if we do not have enough to worry about and now these could be lurking everywhere, some times ignorance is bliss!
