One Of The Crows,

is getting very cheeky,

I put a few peanuts outside on the window sill for them and keep a few inside to top up when they are finished, but this one has realised when the window is open he can lean in and help himself to the ones inside,

and here he is in action, cheeky blighter!

before lunch we started our walk to see Steve and Kai,

past the garden in Foxgrove Lodge,

and a walk down a road called The Park,

we stopped by these roses,

they were huge,

this one in particular had such a lovely scent,

a selfie from Diana,

one other thing we noticed,

was that the rhododendrons by the sports field,

had really burst into flower,

there were so many of them,

we were soon admiring Steve and Hai's gardening skills, the bok choy,

and lettuce amongst others really growing well,

we all sat down for a coffee, tea, snacks and a chat,

it was so pleasant,

chatting the afternoon away,

before we left Steve and Kai kindly let us have some of the Bok choy and lettuce,

we made our way home,

back past the rhododendrons,

entering the park we spotted some peonies that we had not seen on our way out,

and roses in the garden of Foxgrove Lodge,

time for a late sherry,

and our starter,

Diana had made a salmon salad with the lettuce she had just picked, you can not get fresher than that!

for our main course pork, with gravy for Diana,

sans gravy for myself,

'Cheers!',

for dessert a glass of fresh strawberries, cream and Cornish ice cream, delicious!

it was now late, for our evenings entertainment what better than a black and white movie? for tonight Village of the Damned, the 1960 version, based on the book by John Wyndham, the Midwich Cuckoos, if his name sounds familiar he wrote amongst many other works The Day of the Triffids, we finished the evening off with a Have I Got More News For You, then for us we were off to bed.
