This Morning,

3 crows were making a bit of a racket,

a pair and one of their offspring I guess,

in any event one of them is the one that reaches inside for a nibble at the peanuts, after finishing the blog and completing my exercises, it was time for a haircut, but disaster struck, my electrical curse kicked in, our new hair trimmer, just a few months old just did not work, we had bought it as we had lost the attachments for the old one, and it was strangely enough just a few pounds more to buy a new trimer and the bits that came with it, anyway it did not work, although still under guarantee the cost of postage sending it back and fourth meant that into the bin it went, we are now using the old trimmer, which after a couple of years is still going strong, so far!

after a haircut and a shower, breakfast,

smoked haddock warmed in butter, after which Diana was off to work, I spent the day soaking up the rays in the garden and listening to a number of Just A Minute radio shows I had downloaded, for myself they are just so funny, all afternoon I was chuckling away in the garden, it is such a fiendishly simple show, all you have to do is talk about a given subject for just one minute, but, without hesitation, deviation or repetition on any subject that comes up on the card that the presenter reads out, Just a Minute was first transmitted on Radio 4 on 22 December 1967, three months after the station's launch, the programme won a Gold Sony Radio Academy Award in 2003.The format of the show was created by Ian Messiter and producer David Hatch, who put the pilot for the new game show before a BBC development board, who weren't sure that the series would run for more than six episodes, but it was so popular with the British public, including myself the show is still running! if you get a chance download a few episodes and give a couple of them a try, you might find yourself hooked and listen to more than a few,

after my evening meal I followed Tony Robinson in his Egyptian Tomb Hunting, before watching New Tricks, luckily a co-worker of Diana's gave her a lift home, arriving back at 01.50 Wednesday morning so for us we were then off to bed.
