I had a quiet day,
doing the househusband thing, hoovering, watering the plants etc, after Diana returned home and a couple of quiz shows we had a Japanese meal, I should have mentioned yesterday when we were at Victoria station the girls bought some take away food from the Japanese shop there, so sushi it was, delicious!, after which it was BattleBots, and a couple of Antiques Road Trips, before a real treat, the latest Planet Earth III titled Oceans,
image BBC, the program was narrated by master wordsmith Sir David Attenborough, his comment sums the program up far better than I could ever hope to do:
"Much of our planet still remains unexplored, for most of it
is covered by water. Every journey below the surface can reveal something
extraordinary - more than a thousand new species are discovered here every
year. The ocean is home to eighty per cent of all animal life on Planet Earth,
but today, thriving in this vast and varied world sometimes demands the most
surprising behaviour…”
he also commented that we know more about the surface of Mars than we do about our own ocean depths, what an amazing program, after which we watched a Midsomer Murder, before we were off to bed.
