and I was out to visit Duncan and into a grey day, 

thankfully not cold, 

on to the number 54 bus, then a real traffic snarl up,

heading towards Peter Pan's Pool, 

but thankfully it soon cleared, 

the plants in this bee garden,

on top of a bus shelter,

starting to assume their summer colours, 

as the bus approached this parked bus I thought there was going to be a change of driver, but at the last minute the driver took the bus out of the bus lane,

the wisteria on this building in Catford starting to flower,

Lewisham market,

up and running, 

with plenty of produce for sale,

arriving at Blackheath village, 

lots of cut flowers, 

ready for sale,

as well as potted plants,

the upline trains had just left, but a bit of bad news for myself, 

no through trains to Gravesend, so a change of trains at Dartford, so a photograph of the pond next to Dartford station, 

arriving at Gravesend, the sky was starting to cloud over, 

the 483 bus runs every 30 minutes, and I had just missed it! so a bit of a wait until the next one,

off of the bus and up the hill to the nursing home where Duncan stays,

a bit of work at the entrance to the home,

what a difference a week makes, 

the roses now starting to flower, pink,

and red, inside Duncan was in fine sprits, we chatted about where Diana and myself had been over the past week, and that we were going for a curry this evening, as Duncan's lunch arrived we said our farewells and I made a move for the bus stop,

down to the bus stop, the clouds making way for a bright afternoon,

it was one of those days, I missed the 13.34 by just one minute! so a wait for the 14.04, but the good news was that I did not have to charge trains at Dartford, arriving at Blackheath I was soon on the number 54 bus,

just past Lewisham there are a number of speed bumps, in of all places a bicycle lane, somebody just had a oops moment as he went over one of the bumps!

looking good for the bees this summer!

no original plants here, but at least the weeds are flowering,

off of the bus and home for a coffee, passing the wisteria at Foxgrove Lodge, Diana was already at home, 

so shortly after arriving home we were out, 

on to and off of a number 54 bus, we were having our Indian here at Kathmandu Masala,

'Cheers!', with a sherry,

our poppadum's arrived,

as we pursued the menu, 

decisions made, 

a mixed kebab starter for Diana, a prawn puri for myself,

eyes down and tuck in,

we ordered 3 main courses, 

a chicken, prawn and lamb, as well as a mushroom bhaji, peas and mushroom rice and a nan bread, 'Cheers!',

Diana rounded off the meal with a coffee, a port for myself, the bill came to £106.00 including service charge, on to and off of the bus, 

and we entered the park, stopping off at the lodge, 

to take in the aroma of the wisteria, arriving home it was feet up for a Midsomer Murder after which as Diana has a early start tomorrow we were off to bed.
