photograph Eva Nemeth, it is the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the show is open from 21 - 25th May 2024,
Tuesday to Saturday (8am-8pm Tuesday to Thursday, 8am-10.30pm on Friday, and
8am-5.30pm on Saturday). Tuesday & Wednesday are the RHS Members' Days, but
from Thursday onwards it is open to all ticket holders, tickets from £55.85, at todays rate $70.82,

to the 1800s, when the RHS Great Spring Show was first held in Kensington in
May 1862. In May 1913, the RHS moved the show to the grounds of Chelsea
Hospital where it has remained ever since, marking the beginning of the Chelsea
Flower Show, the move to Chelsea was a success, with hundreds of exhibitors
applying to be part of the show. Of the 244 who were approved, Kelways,
Blackmore & Langdon, and McBeans Orchids, that we visited in November 2019, are still exhibiting a century
later, for more about the history of the show, have a look here, I have to say I attended once with Bob and Debbie, but it was so packed it was almost impossible to see anything, hopefully things are laid out better now, but this year I will watch the gardening programs to see a better view than I ever could in person.
