It Started Out As A Quite Day,

but first thing Australian John And April called round for a cup of tea and a chat, after he left then Steve and little Laura called round for the afternoon, we talked about lots of things happening around the world and of course Thailand, the latest thing out here is the discovery of several containers dumped at sea surrounded by many human remains, the strange thing is that none of the major world news services has picked up the story, I would have thought that with hundreds of bodies found it would have been major news, for the story as reported go here to Pattaya News One,
Laura was having a great time with Precil's party hats from her birthday party,
and Dad had to wear one as well!
we went to buy some chicken feet soup for our evening meal,
but again our usual soup kitchen was not there so it was into town, next to the soup stall there is a fried rice stall, it is a husband and wife/daughter team, they work together but with different products, neat if you think about not really working together but keeping the same work/sleeping clocks,
the stalls are just before the Marine near the Middle East quarter, there are a few more stalls there as well,
just opposite a new building is being put up, a disco I would guess as I seem to remember there being one there before,
a view of the street looking towards Coyotes,
on the way back we stopped to buy some milk and I spotted this Suzuki, it looked really strange, but then I have not kept up with modern bike design,
I could not make up my mind what market it was aimed for road/race tyres and brakes but with high ground clearance for a scramble machine which gives it poor handling for the tyres it is equipped with,
nice rear discs as well, and a lot of money spent on extras,
it looked sort of OK, but that ride height with those tires- you have got to be kidding! put on some moto cross knobblies or lower the ground height!
then to the fruit market, melons and squash,
and the first of this years Rambutan (Ngor) delicious! then home for supper.
