Not A Lot Happening Today,

but we did have another game of Monopoly,
again the dice were cruel to Diana,
then later in the afternoon Jay and Precil called round, for a cup of tea and a chat, next we were off to the Friday night market, as we walked past this tree all around the base of it were what appeared to be bright yellow dandelion flowers, there were the flowers of the tree, we have never seen this tree in flower before,
last week we spotted this new milk stall,
so this week Diana had to try some,
there are 3 aisles in the market to walk along, for a change I chose this one nearest the road,
this stall selling biscuits,
seeds and candies,
a lot of the stalls were still setting up,
opposite the bar another car sales team was in action,
mango's and avocado's looking nice again this week, Diana bought two mango's, there were 60 baht a kilo each weighed 1 kilo, we ate one later in the evening, it was despite its size delicious,
mind the boiling oil,
the choice of fresh and cooked foods was almost limitless,
another boiling oil saucepan to give a wide berth too,
Diana back from her first shopping expedition,
for me it was time to meet Bill at the bar, which early though it was had a number of customers,
Diana then arrived back with the mango's and some sweet biscuits, not to mention a new top,
off she went again this time returning with some giant lychee's,
shopping done, time to head home,
during the day whilst playing Monopoly we watched Fred Dibnah’s World Of Steam, Steel & Stone, vol 1, although we had watched this series before, it was still fascinating to watch again,
next a remarkably well made and interesting DVD, the Battle of Waterloo 1815, I did not think Diana would like it so I started watching it as Diana was in the kitchen, when she returned after she watched it for a few minuets, it was back to the beginning as she wanted to see all of it, the only slight niggle with it was the lack of English subtitles,
from the same supplier Pegasus, we also purchased amongst others this title, Red Crabs Crazy Ants, it is a documentary about the massive migration of red crabs on Christmas Island and how their numbers are being decimated by the accidental introduction of red ants, fascinating stuff,
to round off the evening MI5, for tonight, Episode #5.3, Zaf is undercover with a group of Al Qaeda terrorists who plan on exploding a thermobaric bomb in central London. Adam's solution is to buy the bomb before the terrorists do, but before anything can be done Zaf is involved in a murder, Episode #5.4 concerns the Addressing Africa conference with the hope of re-shaping the North-South trade relationship, but a deal is being done to collapse the talks, what hold does America hold over Japan in the negotiations? with that we were off to bed.
