We Had A Bit Of A Quiet Saturday,

watching a DVD or two, but in the evening Mike and Riza called round, so upstairs with a box of wine for us, whilst the girls watched scary movies downstairs,
all too soon it was time to go, but the good news was that they stayed late as it Sunday tomorrow, so no getting up to go to work!
during the day and after Mike and Riza left we watched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, the good news is that hopefully on Tuesday we will be going to see the latest and last movie in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2,
next a real old classic, The Plank, very dated of course and packed with stars, it was good to watch it again after so many years, also great fun in naming the cars parked along the roads that were used in the film, the story is about two workmen delivering a plank to a building site and their adventures getting it there, the sound track is hardly there at all relying on actions rather than words,
to round off the evening we started to watch the third series of Are You Being Served? although the show was often criticised for its bawdy content when it was shown, it was a family favourite, often attracting audiences of over 20 million, incredible viewing figures, but a show like this today could not even be contemplated never mind produced, the PC brigade would go ballistic!
