We Decided On A Late Breakfast,

well early lunch, on Jomtien Beach, but called into a nursery on Thepprisitt Road, at the side of it a stall selling fresh fruit drinks,
lots of orchids on display at the front of the shop, with many attached to wooded roots behind them,
great if you have a small patio garden,
behind the orchid display rows of plants for sale,
of every shape and colour,
it almost looks like we are still in the plant nursery but we have just parked outside the Surf Kitchen on Jomtien Beach Road,
no prizes for guessing what we are going to have,
Spaghetti Bolognese for Diana,
and a prawn salad for myself,
next stop Friendship for a new box of medicinal wine,
home and feet up Mark called round in the afternoon for a tea and a chat, after he left we watched another few episodes of The Tudors, it is a costume drama featuring England's splendid Renaissance dynasty under King Henry VIII,
followed by Eyes on the World, Fire Mountain, I have forgotten where we bought this DVD, but it follows two family's in the vicinity of Mount Bromo in Java, how they view, worship and live on and by the volcano,
I bought this one double DVD of Sharpe, to see if Diana liked it, the series is based on a series of books written by Bernard Cornwell based on Richard Sharpe serving in Portugal in 1809 that was made into a hugely popular television series, the two episodes enclosed were in the box were Sharpe's Battle, Sharpe is ordered to whip the King of Spain's Irish Royal Brigade into shape, he faces dissent from the men who believe the British are slaughtering their relatives in Ireland, and Sharpe's Sword that we will watch tomorrow,
we had planned to watch a episode of MI5, but the first one we watched left us at a cliff hanger for the second, the first being, episode #5.5, Ruth Evershed finds herself in the middle of an investigation when a man for whom she provided change at a tube station commits suicide by jumping in front of the train, Ruth is accused of pushing the man into the train, we just had to see what happened to Ruth so we watched episode #5.6, which answered that, but lead on to the UK government's decision to sell nuclear reactors to Saudi Arabia, unbeknown to MI-5, they have a rogue agent in their midst, which, you guessed it meant we just had to watch episode #5.7, a group of terrorists take the occupants of the Saudi-Arabian trade center hostage threatening to kill one person every hour until their demand for the release of certain prisoners within Saudi-Arabia are met, by now most of the mysteries had been solved and it was late, or I should say morning, so we were off to bed.
