we are thinking about a trip to Burma in a few months time, the agent we used for our Cambodian trip does not do tours to Burma but in the next set of buildings to the FedEx courtyard we were told there was an agent that did do trips to Burma, BlonyAir Travel, but although they can supply flights and book hotels there are as yet still no tour guides they can recommend, so if we go we will go it alone, well with Jeff and Da,

on our way back we called into a shop that sells real motorbikes, (think Superbike World Championship), the Ducati dealership on Third Road,

boy was I in for a treat!

bikes were on display inside and outside the shop,

I do not for one moment profess to know the differences between a Monster, Hypermotard,

 

Multistada, EVO or Panigale,

but I do know that the 795 Monster is the one for me and at just 399,990 baht, (£8,190 at to days rate) brand spanking new it is a bargain!

we were shown round the shop by Don, who was most helpful even though we told him we had no intention of buying one,

 

for real wind cheating some come with fairings, it is surprising how many more MPH can be squeezed out of a bike fitted with one,

next stop the fish shop on Third Road, we needed some food for the blue lobsters we bought in Bangkok,

 I had a brief look around but we had filled our aquariums with fish when we went to Bangkok,

still it is good fun for me to look around, just in case there is some thing I had not seen before,

then to Thepprisit night market,

we had a few spots of rain on the way in, but luckily it held off for the rest of the evening,

rain covers going up just in case,

opposite the bar the clothes stall was back,

I even spotted some bonsai today,

I mentioned to Diana to but some strawberries for the evening,

they look so nice but do not have the flavour of ones that we have eaten in the UK,

the market was still fairly empty,

fruit shakes anyone?

at this time the bar last week was packed, not so today,

 Diana thought the strawberries looked so nice she bought a kilo of them!

I am not sure what this group of lady's were selling,

there is a new barmaid at the bar for tonight,

the girls back from a shopping fest,

by now the bar had filled up, so the girls had to sit round the corner,

so home to 388 for our evening meal. then feet up to watch some DVDs,
