We Had Run Out Of Room, Our I Should Say Shelf Space,

for our DVD collection,

so first we were off to Naklua for a cane set of shelves, then to Index for a small television stand,

the truck loaded an ready to go,

as soon as we were back the air conditioning team called round, the one in the living room had started to leak, the tray that catches the condensation had a pipe leading from it that had broken, so the course of the day went some thing like this, back to the store to see if there was a new tray or secondhand one available, there was not, off next to the welding shop to braze in a new pipe, all fitted, but in fitting the new pipe the bottom of that tray had become perforated, it leaked like a sieve!

back to the workshop where a piece of bitumen with a silver foil backing was stuck on, refitted it still leaked, by now it was well past 5.00 in the afternoon, so that was that, luckily a friend had a air conditioner that he now longer wanted, so hopefully the team will be back tomorrow to fit it, I was promised a 10.30 start,
during the times the team were out and about Jake was being walked outside, so I just had to go and say Hi!

from 6 kgs a very few weeks ago he now weighs in at 15 kgs, I was told by the owner he is a boxer, well he is starting to look a lot like a pit bull if you ask me,

but then what do I know about dogs? a closer view of Jake,

all of the rain has brought a growth of fungi in the garden, this one popped out,

 it opens like this,

and dies like this,

we watched New Tricks last night, in one of the stories a palaeontologist was killed, in most scenes fossils were in evidence as objets d'art,

I was surprised to find that some of the ones I have in my office featured, though I have single specimens the ones one display in the episode had multiple fish in them, but how strange out of the hundreds of fossil fish they should be the same specie as ours,

Cocoon, a feel good movie old people, guess that's why I enjoyed it! a group of aliens return to earth to retrieve cocoons containing the people they'd left behind, the cocoons are stored in a swimming pool, the old folks use the pool and become younger every time they use it,

New Tricks series 8 rounded off the evening with Old Fossils, UCOS reinvestigate the 2001 death of Dr Bernard Fletcher who had fallen in the Natural History Museum, but did he die accidentally or not? with that we were off to bed.
