How Strange That A Couple Of Posts Ago I Should Mention Hogwarts,

from the Harry Potter movies,

the next day one of the series is being shown on HBO, well I thought it was a coincidence, cue twilight zone music!

during the day I meet up with Phil for his lunch then Jay and Precil called round, all to soon it was time for my evening out with Juu, Glen and Phil, so off to Walking Street,

the numbers of tourist seem to be on the way down,

there was actually room to walk on the street!

first stop Champions, for us all to meet up,

after a few there we made our way along to Soi Diamond to have a look at some of the bars there,

before making our way back to Champions, I just love some of the signs, they look so bright,

after a couple more nightcaps we made our way home, but not before spotting what was the Coyote ago-go had now been renamed New York New York, but still not open yet,

during the day we watched apart from Harry Potter, an IMAX film, Greece: Secrets of the Past, a visually stunning film, with plenty of history to keep the film going, even a few thoughts about Atlantis, well worth watching,

as was the BBC Earth BluRay Great Barrier Reef, again stunning visual images presented in a way it seems that only the BBC know how, as the cover says, 'a
portrait of a biological miricale',

when I returned from town we settled down to watch Sea Rex 3D: Journey to a Prehistoric World, I bought it some time ago and was, well more than a little disappointed to find that in one review it received just one star, well I have to say that reviewer is totally wrong, it was for us brilliant, it brought to life Georges Cuvier who many people say without a doubt, possessed one of the finest minds in history, he is first featured looking at what scientist think may be the head of a crocodile or whale, but he knows it is something that lived not recently but millions of year ago, with that he takes a young student back in time to examine two of the great earth extinction events, the big one 245 million years ago (the third in a series of five, up to 95 percent of all animalsnearly the entire animal kingdomwere lost in what is thought to be the worst extinction in history,) and the smaller one 65 million years ago, (the fifth), what a great DVD, with the end of that we were off to bed.
