We Were Up Early Again,

Diana had another dentist appointment,

so I dropped her off at Dr. Chanis opposite Friendship supermarket,

as she was going to be there for some time I called into Big C Extra to do a little shopping and call in on a couple of friends in the area,

just outside a new aquatic shop had opened, which I had a quick look around,

on my way back to meet up with Diana I went past the corner of Pattaya Tai and Third Road, sometimes called 'Tony Town', because of his gyms and training facilities there, but this was new, on the corner a structure was being built, shops I guess, but as with many of the developments in this area it is difficult to park cars,

I parked in the Friendship car park and made my way into the market entrance that is almost opposite,

lychee's, my favourite, every week they seem bigger than the week before,

if you like coconut this is for you,

mouth sized portions cooked in oil to take home or eat on the move, though to be fair eating and walking is not something you see native Thais do very often, it is more of a Western thing,

another treat of some sort wrapped in leaves,

this stall looked interesting, first pick your perfume from the clear bottles at the rear,

then decide on the shape,

and colour of the bottle to take your purchase home in,

the aquatic shop was a bit quiet as I walked past,

to meet up with Diana in the cafe,

naturally she had been shopping for essentials, bananas, lychee's, shoes,

next to Friendship for some more essentials,

home and unpack to get ready for the evening,

for our trip to Thepprisett night market,

many of the stalls had not yet pitched up,

the sky was grey and looked like it would rain,

opposite the bar this week a couple of stalls selling clothes,

the food market seemed to have a few early shoppers,

but it would be some time before the aisles became really crowded,

the pet section was still empty,

the aquatic store at the end still there,

no sunset over the market today, just grey clouds and the spot inside my camera on the lens,

I saw Diana doing the rounds of the clothes and shoe stalls,

did I mention handbags? so many to chose from!

I think the stall holders are predicting rain as awnings are going up,

just a couple of people at the bar,

Diana returned with some melon and mango's for later to nibble on as we watch television,

we were also joined by Brian and Sa,

then time for us to head home, Diana went to the kebab stall and bought a few sticks with chicken on for our evening meal,

and nice they are with a portion of rice,

just as we were leaving the lady that owns the bar very kindly gave us a box of beer glasses, totally unexpected,

after our evening meal it started to pour down with rain, really hard,

so hard in fact that it blocked out the satellite signal, we had never seen this message before during a rain storm,

the rain lighten for for some time, so I went out to lock the front gate, and who did I see? the frog, well not the same one for sure,

this one was a lot smaller than the previous one, so back indoors feet up to watch a couple of BluRays,

although we had watched it before The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was a great all action film to watch again, adventurer Allan Quatermain with friends takes on Moriarty in a fight to the death,

to round off the evening another from the Harry Potter box, in the sixth year Half-Blood Prince, Harry learns more about Lord Voldemort's past and his own, then for us off to bed.
