We Had To Perform A Little Aquarium Maintenance,

before we continued painting,

so we removed about 20% of the water and then refiled the smaller aquarium,

then for the larger one cut a piece of nylon wool,

which acts as a prefilter for the larger aquarium,

then refill that one and we were all set to,

 continue painting the fence,

smile for the camera! we are hoping that tomorrow will see the last of the fence painting, then we can start on the security screens around the windows amongst other things still waiting for a repaint, Mark called round in the late afternoon for a coffee and a chat,

after he had left and our evening meal we watched some of Deadliest Catch then a horror, Witchfinder General, in the mid 1600's Roundheads and the Cavaliers battle over England, but in this sometimes lawless time a man was on a crusade,

Matthew Hopkins was perhaps the most notorious name in the history of English witchcraft, throughout his reign of terror 1645-1646, Hopkins acquired a feared and evil reputation as a ‘fingerman’ (informer), paid by local authorities to commit perjury, together with his henchman and fellow ‘Witch-Pricker’ John Sterne, in just 14 months, Hopkins was responsible for the condemnations and executions of some 230 alleged witches, more than all the other witch-hunters that proliferated during the 160-year peak of the country’s witchcraft hysteria, yes basically all of the above is all true, although his death in the film is not what is thought to have happen in life,

then for us the last of L. A. Law second series, we had come to the last DVD in the second series, the good news is that series 3 is already out and we have pre ordered series 4 & 5, so we have a lot to look forward to, with that we were off to bed.
