I Will Be The First To Admit,

I enjoy the occasional tipple of vodka soda with a twist of lemon,

but I was amazed to find out that some people built an 8" diameter underwater pipeline to import vodka! the 500m long, 20cm wide pipe was stretched along the bottom of the Chu river, which forms a border between two countries, the authorities in Kyrgyzstan shut off the pipeline carrying alcohol from Kazakhstan after it was discovered last week, the Kyrgyz news agency AKIpress reported, 'We assume that thousands of liters of alcohol were smuggled', a Tokmok police official told AKIpress, police are searching for the pipeline's operators,

Kyrgyzstan, has a growing demand for cheap alcohol from Kazakhstan, one of the largest grain producers in the region, but back to the pipelines, I have often read about people breaking petroleum pipelines to steal petrol, but a vodka pipeline? now that would be a result!
