Up Early And Off For My 08.00 Appointment,

I was having a blood test,

so after giving a blood sample it was off for breakfast,

so I took a walk along Second Road, this is the junction of it and Pattaya Central,
if you are a driver out here you will know it as it was at one time the only junction where you could not turn left on a red light,

I thought about some street food,

this stall was on the corner of Soi 7, but decided against it,

so I continued walking past this hotel,

which had such a nice water feature at it's entrance,

complete with a selection of fish,

and a few other water features,

next past one of the many foot spas that have sprung up around town,

basically you sit on the chair,

and fish nibble your feet, we have mentioned them on the blog before,

then looking across the road,

I decided to eat where I had before, the Yuan restaurant,

whilst waiting for my results, this view looking back across the road,

this was my breakfast, orange, tea, a fry up, followed by an ice coffee, then back to the hospital at 09.00 for the results, the good news all was pretty much the same as last time, no changes to medication which was as small a dose of tablets that are made, arriving home I decided to have a look and see if my suspicions about a newer Galaxy Grand coming on to the market soon could be confirmed and they were!

yesterday you may remember whilst in Central Festival I was offered a discounted Galaxy Grand, this normally never happens in Central, they are all fixed price outlets, but I now know that Samsung have just sent the new Galaxy Grand to India, but named it the Galaxy Grand Quad, instead of having 2 processors the new telephone has 4, so what to do? buy the old Grand at a slightly knocked down price (5% off) or wait for either the new Note 3 or Grand Quad to arrive here next month?

any way enough of that, all too soon it was glad rags on,

we were out for our evening meal,

to the China Garden, located on Soi Lengkee,

we were joined this evening by Mr. Tony,

it was quite early, so we were the only customers there,

we started with the selection of starters for 2,

followed by Peking duck with cucumber, onions, sauce and pancakes,

we have seen these bamboo containers so many times before, but I still marvel at the work that goes into making them,

a view across the restaurant looking towards the kitchen,

the restaurant has a real Chinese feel about it, this is a detail from one of the murals,

our main courses arrived, sweet and sour chicken, special chow mien, prawns with beansprouts, chicken curry and special fried rice, it was all delicious, after the meal we made a move for home and said our goodbyes to Mr. Tony,

who had very kindly brought over some of his home grown bananas, the colours on the skin of them so different and subtle compared to the normal yellow ones we are so used to,

some even looking like there were striped green and brown, the colour then turns to orange like the one above when they are ready to eat, we settled down to watch some television, then for us we were off to bed.
