Keeping To An Arts Theme,

I chanced upon this fascinating example of pottery decorating skills,

the Japanese ceramic studio Kutani Choemon was founded in 1879 and has been making tableware and tea ceremony utensils for over 130 years,

the company sources everything in house, from finding the clay to making their own inks and of course firing the product,

I just love this GIF above, you can almost feel the craftsman willing the ink/glaze to go the last few fractions of an inch to fill the pattern,

although it is a little long, if you want to spend the best 4 minutes of your day have a look at the video above, what for me is amazing as you watch the design progress is one mistake and there is no going back, totally captivating.
