Imagine Walking Through A House,

where refrigerators, fireplaces, and toilets open to let you through like doors,

to explore the rest of the 20,000 square foot fantasy world of Meow Wolf

the 150 strong Meow Wolf group of artists,

set up their project in the gutted shell of an abandoned bowling alley in Santa Fe, New Mexico,

the group was started nearly ten years ago by both artists and fabricators in order to plan events that were situated in-between large scale art exhibitions and massive parties,

the home of the group’s latest environment, a role-playing installation titled The House of Eternal Return, was purchased by Game of Thrones creator George RR Martin with the express purpose of turning the space into Meow Wolf’s large-scale vision, what a fabulous place to look around, one other great feature of the work is that you can touch everything, go anywhere, push buttons, and crawl inside of anything, a real hands on experience, it is open Monday, Wednesday – Sunday, 10:00am – 8:00pm, open late on Fri./Sat. nights, but remember it is closed on Tuesdays, admission fees are for locals $15 and for tourists $18 with reductions for children and the old folks like me!
