Diana Loves Tacos,

I have to admit I do not,

but I was intrigued when I saw what is arguably Mexico's cheapest food being offered by the Grand Velas Los Cabos Resort, a luxury vacation destination in Baja California, the executive chef Juan Licerio Alcala decided to take this cheap morsel and make it into something to be savoured, using the finest ingredients he produced this taco,

the Mexican chef takes a corn tortilla speckled with 24 carat gold flakes, which he then fills with Kobe beef, langoustines, Almas Beluga caviar and black truffle brie cheese, then, the taco is dressed with a salsa based on Morita chiles and Kopi Luwak coffee, before being sprinkled with some edible gold flakes, and to help the taste it is recommended that you go with a bottle of Tequila, chef Licerio recommends a bottle of Ley.925 Pasión Azteca Ultra Premium Añejo, but there is a small condition, you have to be staying in the presidential suite at Grand Velas Los Cabos Resort, and put down a deposit of $12,500, then and only then will Licerio get started on preparing the exclusive taco, chef Juan Licerio Alcala told AFP. “Then I explain the delicacy, the technique and the harmony that they will lift from the plate, and that it’s worth it.” when it’s ready, it is presented to the buyer in the middle of the desert encircled by motorcycles, or during a marriage proposal, the presentation can be tailor made to your wishes, so what is the final cost? $25,000 for the taco and $150,000 for the Tequila, the cost of the suite depends on the time of your stay, enjoy!
