fungi, plants,
and other creatures are real,
but they are not,
they have all been created by designer
Zhang Chenxi, and are apart of his ongoing
series of digital illustrations titled “UNKNOWN × UNKNOWN,”
Chenxi starts each piece as a concept sketch on paper and then models it in Cinema 4D before rendering in Octane, you can see more of them on Behance, what strange and sometimes believable looking creatures, I wonder if there is one real creature in the collection?
