Out For Sunday Lunch,

so glad rags on,
and we were off The George,

which is in Chaiyaphruek 2 Rd,

if you are leaving Pattaya on the Sumkivitt Road and going towards Sattahip as you approach the Chaiyaphruek 2 Road traffic lights turn right and the restaurant is about 100 yards down the road on the left hand side, Mr. Tony very kindly called into town to pick us up,

a quick look at the well stocked bar,

we all decided on the Sunday roast,

both Diana and Mr. Tony chose the chicken and leek soup,

 for myself a Caesar salad,

 'Cheers!',

and another, on to our main courses,

there was a choice of beef, chicken or pork,

all set and we were off, they was no limit to the times you could go to the carvery,

 then time for deserts,

and what a nice one it was too, many places just give you a dollop of ice cream, not here, the dessert looked and was delicious,

 Diana loved the candy straws,

 which was a nice touch,

and she really liked the cream,

what a excellent way to finish the meal, both Diana and myself chose vanilla,

 Mr. Tony decided on chocolate,

to round of the meal a latte coffee for Diana,

an Irish coffee for Mr. Tony,

and a Jamaican coffee for myself, the cost of the carvery is 395 baht per person, but does not include the coffees we followed the meal with, so if you are looking to try somewhere for Sunday lunch or a meal at any other time, give The George a look in,

back home we watched television for more than a few hours,

Diana was in the kitchen then came out with a surprise, she had made a home made pizza and whilst shopping yesterday had bought a few things for a late night snack, diet starts tomorrow! we said our farewells to Mr. Tony late in the evening and after watching a few more game shows we were off to bed.
